Dimensions & Installation Guidelines
Before building your wood fired oven, it’s important to plan a solid, well-supported base. Below you’ll find dimensions, weight information, and installation guidelines.
Oven Height & Ergonomics
Both the Napoli and Family ovens are the same overall height and have the same size entrance.
The recommended base height is a guide only. Taller people may prefer a higher base, while shorter users may prefer a lower base for comfortable access.
Choosing Your Base Size
Each oven is available with either a standard base or a corner base configuration. The correct choice will depend on your available space and how the oven will be positioned in your outdoor area.

Weight & Structural Requirements
Both ovens are heavy and require a strong, stable foundation.
The finished weight of the Family oven is approximately 500kg.
The Napoli oven weighs approximately 400kg.
We recommend a general-purpose concrete slab between 80–100mm thick for the oven to sit on. Well-supported concrete boards may be used as an alternative to a slab, provided they are properly supported.
Important Notes
All measurements shown are minimum recommendations. You may choose to build a larger base for additional bench space, storage, or visual balance.
The height of the base is flexible and can be adjusted to suit personal preference.
If you are unsure which base size or configuration is best for your space, we’re happy to help.
